Description
Following other examples in the country, this housing complex looks for a synthesis between The Modernist Movement proposals – construction in height, retreat in relation to the street and the freeing of green spaces of common use, resorting to elements of traditional architecture. The simultaneous use of exposed concrete with stone structures, the tile coating and the simulation of a roof tile way up above, is the visible expression of that will. On the inside, however, that attempt is more than merely formal as one can see by the large space given to common areas that promote meetings and strengthen neighbourhood relationships.
