Description

This house was idealized during decades by the couple Carlos Alberto Cabral and his French wife Blache Dubin, who made their life project the construction and specific design of each one of its pieces and each one of its rooms. A Cosmopolitan couple, they gave the project to Charles Siclis, accompanied by Marques da Silva. A stage-like palace to present and host, Casa de Serralves was already a house of culture before it became a museum. Open to the public, it is a house whose singularity and beauty should no doubt be preserved. It is always worth it to go back to the origins of Serralves, to discover and rediscover the different architectures that it entails, go up to the chapel tower and imagine a vie en rose.
