Description
The rehabilitation project of a building is an exercise that confirms the remarkable ability to adapt of the nineteenth century house. Where before were three dwellings it was possible to make five without altering the original structure and preserving its essential compartmentalising. In one building different ways of living in the city are possible: an old tenant was maintained, new owners arrived and it was also possible to create three units of temporary accommodation. The great innovation of this house can be found in the glass façade of the patio made by recycling old woodwork, which creates an agreeable winter garden.
