Description
This urban house that two architects, Ana Cláudia Monteiro and Vitor Oliveira, designed to be their own home is a construction with a contemporary language, but that has learned a lot with old houses: in the way its organised and lives a narrow and profound space. Its façade is transparent. However, during the day and with the different seasons, an elaborate game of shutters makes the relationship between the inside, pristinely white, and the exterior, one of constant alteration. The intensity of the light and temperature can be controlled, but also what we can see from the inside and what is seen from the outside.
