Description
These houses by Eduardo Souto Moura are situated in a promontory over the terminal of containers of the Port of Leixões. These ten houses are not there to oversee the comings and goings of boats or the movement of the cranes. They are not there to see or be seen. On the contrary, they are turned onto themselves as if nothing else was there, beyond their high walls. For one day, at least, we are invited to get to know the secret garden that is a small made up landscape, as if it was carved on the inside of a perimeter of fine walls and windows.
