Description
This huge white building with granite frames highlighted at the top of Morro da Sé is a fundamental part of the city’s history and its postcard. In August last year, after six hundred years of existence, the house of the Bishops of Porto opened its doors regularly to the public, and Open House Porto could not let that go. It’s an opportunity to know the refinements that you would expect from a palace: a monumental staircase, rich tapestry, furniture made with precious woods or mirrors with gold carving, but also the spaces where the Bishop of Porto and other members of the church live daily and see the view from the big windows.
