Description
If you can call “works of art” to special engineering pieces – bridges and viaducts –, then it is due to the work of figures like Edgar Cardoso. The second bridge that this engineer offered the city follows the legacy of its predecessors, in its technical uniqueness but also in its sculptural elegance. After all, a structure functions better if it is also beautiful. Complementing the visit to the nearby lab, go up to the bridge and walk the hollow inside of its span.
