Description
Even if just for a short period of time, this Inn is the home of those who don’t have a home. The renovation made by Nuno Valentim Atelier is an example where the contribution of the work of the architects has an extraordinary effect in the management of resources and technical systems, in a work that went on with the Inn running normally. With few means it was possible to make obvious the most elementary function of architecture: to supply a ceiling to those in need. And this shows that architecture is an inclusive activity, social and political, that is important to promote.
